Il est en effet de 1,79 en Lorraine contre 1,99 en France.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2013, 811 510 b\u00e9b\u00e9s sont n\u00e9s sur l&rsquo;ensemble du territoire fran\u00e7ais. Une l\u00e9g\u00e8re baisse de 1,2 % par rapport \u00e0 2012,\u00a0mais les\u00a0chiffres restent bien plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s qu&rsquo;au milieu des ann\u00e9es 1990 et la France est parmi les pays les plus f\u00e9conds d&rsquo;Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">La situation est moins optimiste dans notre R\u00e9gion et\u00a0le nombre de naissances baisse r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement depuis une trentaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es. <span style=\"face: 'Times';\">En 2013, la Lorraine a vu na\u00eetre 25 484 enfants, 13 021 gar\u00e7ons et 12 463 filles soit un peu moins qu&rsquo;en 2012, o\u00f9 l\u2019on avait d\u00e9nombr\u00e9 25 788 naissances.\u00a0La\u00a0baisse touche de mani\u00e8re similaire tous\u00a0les d\u00e9partements lorrains, \u00e0 l\u2019exception tout de m\u00eame notable des Vosges. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; face: 'Times';\">\u00c9pinal\u00a0(\u00e0 l\u2019image du d\u00e9partement) voit le nombre de naissances sur un an augmenter (une vingtaine de naissances suppl\u00e9mentaires : 364 en 2013 contre 345 en 2012).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; face: 'Times';\">Pour la r\u00e9gion,\u00a0la baisse\u00a0r\u00e9sulte en grande partie du d\u00e9part des femmes aux \u00e2ges les plus f\u00e9conds (25-35 ans). Apr\u00e8s leurs \u00e9tudes et face aux difficult\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques, les Lorraines quittent la r\u00e9gion pour rechercher du travail ailleurs. Ainsi en France, on recense 2,5 millions de personnes n\u00e9es en Lorraine,\u00a072 % seulement y r\u00e9sident (1,8 millions).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Autres ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes constat\u00e9s, l\u2019accroissement des naissances hors mariage, des naissances plus tardives et l\u2019attractivit\u00e9 des centres urbains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; face: 'Times';\">Jusqu\u2019au milieu des ann\u00e9es 1970, la proportion de naissances hors mariage \u00e9tait marginale (un enfant sur dix). Depuis une quarantaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, elle s\u2019accro\u00eet r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement. En 2013, pr\u00e8s de six enfants sur dix sont n\u00e9s hors mariage en Lorraine. Les jeunes couples s\u2019installant majoritairement en p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie des villes, c\u2019est dans les communes les plus proches des centres urbains que le solde naturel (diff\u00e9rence entre les naissances et les d\u00e9c\u00e8s) est le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9.
