C\u2019est le cas de Doudou Simon, encore adolescent \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, qui traversait la jeune for\u00eat de Cellet au guidon de son v\u00e9lo pour rejoindre le principal lieu de filmage du long m\u00e9trage de Robert Enrico extrait du livre de Jos\u00e9 Giovanni \u00ab\u00a0Le Haut Fer\u00a0\u00bb. Si\u00a0Andy White est le 5\u00e8me Beatles, Doudou est l\u2019autre \u00ab\u00a0Grande Gueule\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 l\u2019 instar de Lino Ventura, Jean Claude Rolland, Bourvil ou encore Michel Constantin\u2026.sans oublier Jean Pascal Voirin, v\u00e9ritable gardien du temple dont le court m\u00e9trage est entr\u00e9 dans les annales de la production.<\/p>\n<p>La distribution fantastique a fait du film, lors de sa sortie, un \u00e9v\u00e9nement qualifi\u00e9 par les critiques de \u00ab\u00a0<em>1er western \u00e0 Fran\u00e7aise\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb. Alors Doudou se souvient avec nostalgie de ce mois de juin 1965 o\u00f9 il n\u2019a pas cess\u00e9 de pleuvoir pendant les 8 semaines de tournage. \u00ab\u00a0J<em>e ressens toujours autant d\u2019\u00e9motion lorsque j\u2019en parle<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00bb commente le g\u00e9r\u00f4mois \u00a0\u00bb j<em>e suis un peu pass\u00e9 du r\u00eave \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 35 ans plus tard en collaborant modestement au court m\u00e9trage consacr\u00e9 au film que l\u2019on doit \u00e0 Philippe Crave et Roger Viry-Babel (<\/em>Doudou a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 ses archives personnelles<em>).
