Le programme de renforcement de la population de Grand T\u00e9tras dans le massif des Vosges a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 en avril 2024. La deuxi\u00e8me op\u00e9ration de translocation (capture, transport, rel\u00e2cher) s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e du 24 avril au 6 mai 2025 en lien avec les autorit\u00e9s norv\u00e9giennes. Cette deuxi\u00e8me translocation a impliqu\u00e9 les partenaires garants du contr\u00f4le technique, scientifique et v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bilan de la deuxi\u00e8me translocation<\/strong>
\nCette deuxi\u00e8me session de translocation a permis de rel\u00e2cher dans le massif du Grand Ventron cinq coqs et deux poules. Ils ont rejoint les deux oiseaux issus de la premi\u00e8re translocation ainsi que les oiseaux autochtones estim\u00e9s \u00e0 moins de cinq individus. Les conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques sur les sites de captures norv\u00e9giens sont \u00e0 l\u2019origine du faible nombre d\u2019oiseaux transloqu\u00e9s. Suite \u00e0 un hiver avec peu de neige et un printemps exceptionnellement doux, les p\u00e9riodes nuptiales, sur les places de chant identifi\u00e9es en Norv\u00e8ge, ont donc eu lieu bien plus t\u00f4t que pr\u00e9vu. Ce qui a consid\u00e9rablement diminu\u00e9 le nombre d\u2019oiseaux capturable. Dans ce contexte, les \u00e9quipes ont poursuivi leur implication afin d\u2019identifier de nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s et techniques de captures qui pourraient \u00eatre valoris\u00e9es dans la suite du programme. Le transport et rel\u00e2cher des oiseaux se sont bien pass\u00e9s. Les donn\u00e9es GPS vont d\u00e9sormais permettre de suivre avec pr\u00e9cision les oiseaux transloqu\u00e9s. Le suivi du 6 mai a cependant permis de constater la mort d\u2019une poule. Les indices retrouv\u00e9s sur place permettent d\u2019envisager une pr\u00e9dation.<\/p>\n

Programme de renforcement du Grand T\u00e9tras dans le massif des Vosges<\/strong>
\nCe projet scientifique est issu d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie nationale d\u2019actions port\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00c9tat et anim\u00e9e localement
\npar le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional des Ballons des Vosges. Il est autoris\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00c9tat \u00e0 titre exploratoire et par les
\nautorit\u00e9s norv\u00e9giennes pour une premi\u00e8re p\u00e9riode de cinq ans. Cette op\u00e9ration est port\u00e9e avec l\u2019appui de
\nnombreux partenaires et s\u2019inscrit dans une dynamique europ\u00e9enne de conservation de l\u2019esp\u00e8ce. Ce
\nprogramme repose sur l\u2019introduction de nouveaux oiseaux et des mesures d\u2019accompagnement pour la
\npoursuite de l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des habitats forestiers, de la qui\u00e9tude, de l\u2019\u00e9quilibre for\u00eat-gibier, et de la
\nconnaissance de l\u2019esp\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n

Les partenaires des op\u00e9rations de translocation<\/strong>
\nEn Norv\u00e8ge sur les sites de capture : Le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional des Ballons des Vosges (pilote), l\u2019Agence
\ndes for\u00eats norv\u00e9giennes (responsable de la gestion de la faune sauvage), l\u2019Office Fran\u00e7ais de la
\nBiodiversit\u00e9 (appui technique et scientifique), le Parc animalier de Sainte-Croix (appui v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire), la
\nF\u00e9d\u00e9ration d\u00e9partementale des chasseurs des Vosges et des experts ind\u00e9pendants des Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es et de
\nl\u2019Union International pour la Conservation de la Nature.
\nDans le massif des Vosges sur le site de l\u00e2cher : Le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional des Ballons des Vosges
\naccompagn\u00e9 d\u2019un v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire, l\u2019Office National des For\u00eats, l\u2019Office Fran\u00e7ais de la Biodiversit\u00e9 et la
\nGendarmerie nationale.<\/p>\n

Bilan de la 1\u00e8re translocation : avril 2024 \u2013 mars 2025<\/strong>
\nLa premi\u00e8re op\u00e9ration de translocation s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e fin avril 2024. Neuf Grand T\u00e9tras norv\u00e9giens ont \u00e9t\u00e9
\nrel\u00e2ch\u00e9s dans le massif du Grand Ventron. Un suivi attentif a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une balise GPS
\npos\u00e9e au moment de la capture sur chaque oiseau. Des bilans mensuels ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de ses

Suite du programme apr\u00e8s cette deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e<\/strong>
\nLe programme engag\u00e9 se veut exploratoire et \u00e9volutif. Il est engag\u00e9 sur une premi\u00e8re dur\u00e9e de cinq ans.
\nUn bilan \u00e0 deux ans est pr\u00e9vu pour adapter la suite du programme au regard des premi\u00e8res exp\u00e9riences.
\nLa Pr\u00e9fecture des Vosges et le Parc naturel r\u00e9gional des Ballons des Vosges r\u00e9uniront prochainement les partenaires du projet pour d\u00e9cider des modalit\u00e9s de poursuite du programme.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
